2009 First Poppy Ceremony
Rideau Hall

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada and
Patron of The Royal Canadian Legion, received the symbolic first poppy.

The ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Rideau Hall.
