1954 Musicial Ride
The attached youtube link shows the 1954 Musical Ride performing at N Division.
Those old-timers among us will recognize the Commissioner of the Day, Comm'r L.H. Nicholson,
who resigned rather than compromise his principles.
It is the era in which the current cap badge was introduced, and the musical accompaniment was
more of a martial type rather than the modern music currently in use.
Also, note the flashes of white on the noses of the horses, a feature which has been bred out of the current steeds.
