Canadian Coast Guard Ice Breaker Griffon
Tour 2017-10-14
The Griffon was docked at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Prescott for a few days.
In addition the Corporal Teather, a Marine Security Enforcement Team vessel was also in port.
Peter Sandziuk, son of retired Ottawa Division member Bill Sandziuk is one of the RCMP members on the Enforcement Team vessel.
Bill is a friend of Ed Rockburne and together they planned a tour of these ships. Thank you Ed for inviting some Vets from the East end.
Twenty people joined in the tour, some Kingston Vets, Ottawa Vets and friends.
