Dorothy May Leduc, 83, died peacefully after a short fight with ALS on Friday, July 21, 2017 in Strathroy, ON. She was born on October 13, 1934 in Morris, Manitoba to Robert and Florence Bell (both deceased). In 1958, she married Paul Leduc (deceased) and had 3 children; Mark (deceased), Shawn and Lynn. Dorothy served Canada as an RCMP constable for 18 years and was known for her community involvement and activities. She was one of the founders of the Stittsville Figure Skating Association, recipient of the RCMP marksman award, as well as an avid golfer, curler, and bowler while residing in Brockville, ON. Dorothy is survived by her sister Lorraine, brother Elgin, son Shawn and his wife Jane, and her daughter Lynn (spouse Kevin Young, deceased). Also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON, followed by a reception.
