A couple of Vets were inquiring about the Order of Saint George Society of Canada. As I had earlier stated, I was honored in being Knighted within the Order on October 1, 2022 in Kingston in an elaborate ceremony at St. George Cathederal. Most of you are deserving of that honour and I would be honoured to be your sponsor. Ladies are Knighted as Dames and men as Chevaliers. The Investiture was held in Kingston, Ontario was held in Kingston, Ontario, on September 30th and October 1st. The investiture ceremony was held at the historic Cathedral Church of St. George in Kingston on October 1st. Following established protocols, the ceremony was supported by the church choir, cathedral organist and the Princess of Wales’ Own Regiment (PWOR) Pipes and Drums.

The investiture was celebrated with a gala dinner on Saturday evening. The PWOR Pipes and Drums provided a rousing start to the evening and the Triola Strings Trio complemented the celebratory spirit of the dinner with its beautiful music.
